Pergola Repair by the Lake – Making the Old Look… new-ish again

Whoever built this pergola by the lake apparently skipped the part about weatherproofing and using treated wood. So, years later, here I am cutting out rotted sections, ripping down new pieces, installing them, and painting everything to try and blend it in. Was it perfect? No. But did it look a hell of a lot better? Yes. Before and after pics included, so you can judge for yourself.
